About Josh and Josh

They are both trained and experienced dancers, performers and choreographers.

Josh H is originally from London, but moved to the Lake District when he was a child with his Interior Designer mum and siblings. He has his own independent dance and theatre production company where he choreographs productions. Alongside Josh W, they have together worked for the TV series ‘Brassic’ and brands such as ‘Apple’ as a choreographer.

Josh W was born and raised in Manchester, where he found his love for dance through Ballroom & Latin. He went on to train at a professional Dance School, where he met his now fiancé, Josh H. One of his career highlights was working alongside French singer Christine & The Queens for several years. He performed all around the world performing at festivals such as Coachella and Glasto!

After getting together, the pair made the move to Manchester, where they bought their first home together. They have big dreams for their next steps and think about wanting to start settling down and making future plans.

With both of them from dancing backgrounds, they have worked together plenty of times before and say they make the perfect team—even appearing in the Barbie movie together as backing Ken doll dancers.

Josh W has diagnosed ADHD, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia but maintains this isn’t a barrier for him. It fuels his creative side and makes him want to prove that he can do anything regardless.

Their DIY journey

Josh and Josh (“The Josh’s” as they are known to friends!) love to renovate. Over time, they have mastered their style, originally going for bright colours and geometric styles to now styling their home with rich and dark colours to give their home a boutique feel.

They love finding old pieces of furniture on Marketplace and are passionate about giving furniture a new home and reuse & recycle when they can.

Josh H’s mum is an interior designer and often asks for the boys opinions and to help her with fresh customer ideas, with their take on design choices. They say his mum’s love their style and ideas and has wondered if they could turn this into a full-time job.

They have tried their hands at some basic DIY tasks around the house, helped build a bar in Josh W’s dad’s garden, built some fencing and tried upholstering furniture.

The Dream

When sharing their vision, Josh and Josh explain that they have been together for 14 years and engaged for several years and have long dreamed of marrying in a chateau. They plan to use their own wedding as the launchpad for a wedding venue and wellness retreat of their own.

With a shared passion for fitness and yoga, the pair envision creating a truly inclusive retreat — a welcoming space open to people from all walks of life. Their goal is to remove barriers and create an environment where everyone feels safe, seen, and able to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

They also hope in the next few years to start a family via surrogacy, but want to make sure they are in the right place in their lives where they can easily provide for their future children and be able to work at the same time.
